Spring Roll .. a simple recipe to get your children to eat vegetables.


1.  10 sheets (approx.) of spring roll wrappers

2.  5 Vienna Sausages cut into small cubes

3.  3-4 slices of ham chopped into small pieces

4.  5 slices of Cheddar cheese
5.  Assorted vegetables, e.g. carrots, broccoli, baby corn or other preferred vegetables, boiled and diced
6.  Salt
7.  Pepper
8.  1 egg to secure the spring roll wrappers
9.  “COOK” refined soybean oil 



1.  Heat the oil on medium heat.

2.  Lay spring roll wrappers on a clean working surface.  Place the sausage, ham, boiled vegetables and cheese in the middle, season with salt and pepper.  Fold the wrappers over filling, rolling upwards and tuck over. Secure by dipping pastry brush in the beaten egg and brushing the end of the wrappers.
3.  Fry the rolled wrappers on medium heat until golden brown.  Place on paper towels to drain.
4. Slice the spring rolls into pieces and serve with mayonnaise or tomato ketchup.
